Racism in America has been a problem since its inception, and it spread to all states across America. The dogmatism exists in American society since the bias is depicted by races viewing themselves as superior to others. The racism factor has mainly affected minority groups in America. Specifically, police brutality, which was statistically targeted towards mostly black Americans. The period between 1950 and 1980 did not have laws to protect the minorities towards cruelty despite several policy proposals.
Racial Profiling
The End of Racial profiling Act (2019) will make it possible for minorities arrested for any criminal misdemeanors to be processed lawfully, and charged through the potential legal channels in existence. Racial profiling is still a problem in the United States, partly because of the innate socio-political mannerism and human nature, for the most part. The process of having a just society requires the harmonization of a law to protect everyone, not just minorities against unlawful arrests, discrimination, and murder without probable cause. Socially assigned race refers to how an individual is grouped by other ethnically, that is, based on racial markers and even the physical appearance.
The policy on racial profiling stems from a history of injustices against the minority and the fight to make it a law not to prosecute minority groups. Predominantly blacks and Latinos indiscriminately face racial profiling. The ERPA will help in revolutionizing equality in dispensing justice America to some extent. Racism was a significant factor for the law to drag in the reform process since most people were against the change. The law also did not protect the minorities since most of them could not defend themselves. Alternative Solution
As an alternative to violence, the End Racial Profiling Act (ERPA) will help in dispensing justice accordingly since the stipulations on the act, specifically targeted the police. Law enforcement was particularly accused of being racially biased on minorities. A history of felonies on minorities was enough to be convicted no matter the circumstance. The war between law enforcement and minorities is now new since its history is traced back to unexplained deaths from the 1950s to date ("H.r.1933 - End Racial Profiling Act Of 2015", 2016). The concern for lawmakers is the viability and the projected polarization of the nature of the law being proposed. However, an alternative solution proposal is needed
By default, America is a polarized society, with every race having its reservations about the other. The police are caught in this fight when it comes to justice dispensation with the help of the courts. Over the last four decades, the jails are full of minorities, most of whom are either wrongly accused or serving unusually long sentences. The law does criminalize being a minority though unjust laws. There is numerous inconsistent law that specifically targets minorities. Laws like the anti-immigration law make sure that minorities have no rights when America. Clinicians make better patient evaluations if they familiarize themselves with the history of the various communities that they serve. When it comes to clinical encounters, the cultural competency paradigm is sometimes given as a tool to improve the quality of healthcare. The categorization of social groups based on race is a fundamental element of racism. Chinese students applying for student visas to US universities declined after president Trump changed the immigration policies. The rhetoric made most students fear the repercussions of studying abroad since the environment ceased to be favorable enough for them to succeed. The increase in the Chinese student population was seen as a threat to the American working economy since they had replaced many young Americans in jobs, residential areas, and schools. The government was pragmatic in getting rid of them hence the backlash on student visa restrictions. The move by the government was never well thought out as most of the Chinese were just working hard and were more mobile in their chance to get employment. Restriction to acquire visas made most Chinese students feel they are not safe in the united states of America. The laws have made most of the Chinese stay away from the united states of America for fear of discrimination.
The conditional restriction barred the Chinese students from accessing certain services, educational courses, and jobs too. The slow choking of the Chinese capabilities in the United States raised a red flag making most students opt to attend school and immediately migrate back to China. Consequently, this saw a reduction in Chinese immigrants to the United States since the opportunities that they sought abroad were readily available back at home. The competition for jobs and knowledge was seen when the Chinese student population increased in foreign schools over the years ("Threat and Humiliation," 2004). The intimidation made other countries restrict the visa under the guise of population control and saving enough jobs for the residents. The opportunities might have been available for the Chinese students in the past. Still, with the restrictions and STEM functionalities reduced, they preferred to go back home where they were appreciated more.

Racial profiling is a menace that should be stopped, especially in a developed nation like the US. During his campaign, President Trump took a stance in rewriting this law, which essentially allowed American companies to hire foreign workers in useful occupations temporarily. Chinese were more qualified than most Americans; however, this did not sit well with the Americans. The rare opportunity granted to the Chinese to occupy America and earn a living gets marred with rhetoric about espionage and foul play. A clear sign of hope among minorities in America.
