Introduction
The gender-based issues have been a prevalent pandemic across the global marks. Violence against women has been profoundly the common sexist issue that has penetrated society over recent years (Kimmel & Wade, 2018). The vilest characteristic associated with the disorder is that it affects women from all socio-economic backgrounds without recognizing economic or social boundaries. Such issues have seen murder cases in the same gender, where their intimate partners have committed homicide to 38 % of women globally (Kimmel & Wade, 2018).
Unequivocally, the violence issue against women is devastating, and it entails a high economic and social cost, especially to the victims of the violence with their respective families (Fleming et al., 2018). Various studies have shown that the young generation growing up in violent families are more susceptible to face violence perpetration in their future. Thus, there is a need to address the violence issue against women to control its effective ramble in the future.
However, several strategies have been recently put in place to eradicate and control violence against women (Fleming et al., 2018). World Bank, in association with developed countries, have previously involved their effort in supporting knowledge and products for preventing Violence Against Women by facilitating over 300 million dollars to developing projects on the issue (Fleming et al., 2018). Besides, world Bank has also engaged in conducting analytical work in partnership with groups that are against this issue, to generate educational lessons on interventions for responsive prevention of the matter to the community and national level. Moreover, the World Bank has built up a wide range of an acknowledged team for sharing and building evidence on addressing the issue of violence against women (Fleming et al., 2018).
Conclusion
In conclusion, there is a need to prevent violence against women throughout the global boundaries. Every one of the societies` individuals has to be involved in mitigating this annoying issue on women. Subsequently, Men have to be in the front line in evaluating the problem since they are the co-factor to its rampant spread. Arguably, men should encompass themselves in the case by avoiding the masculinity egocentrism and focus on enhancing equality to their respective wives for the sake of peace and love in the entire family. In doing so, women in America and all the affected countries will have a breathtaking moment with composure in their personal lives.
