Introduction
Toronto Zoo is situated in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It covers approximately 287 hectares, equivalent to 710 acres (Zoo, 2015). It is one of the largest Zoos in Canada and is divided into seven major zoogeographic regions. These regions include; Canadian Domain, Americas, Australasia, Eurasia, Africa, Indo-Malaya, and Tundra Trek (The Editors of Encyclopaedia Britannica, n.d.). These regions can showcase the plant and animal from the specific area of the world.
Number of Employees
The employees are divided into two categories two ensure that the workload is minimized. It has 273 permanent full-time employees who run most of the organization's operations. Toronto Zoo also more than 330 seasonal employees who assist during the high seasons to attend to the growing number of visitors. Other staff members include; Student Ambassador Volunteers, Summer Information, Panda Ambassador, and a team of 516 Year-Round (Hewer, 2020).

The Toronto Zoo is managed and owned by the City of Toronto. It operates under the Board of Management on behalf of the Municipality. The Board comprises four members from the Zoological Society and five appointees from the City Council of Toronto.
Product/Service Offering
The organization offers services and experiences for its visitors through the animals in their key areas. It hosts 5816 animals from 495 different animal species (Zoo, 2015). These numbers of animals exclude the number of invertebrates displayed indoors and outdoors for the visitors. They have one of the largest male river hippopotami that weighs about 2.25 tonnes and the smallest leaf-cutter of about 7.5 mm long (Zoo, 2015).
Challenges
The Zoo is currently closed based on the Government of Ontario's announcement on November 20, 20202. Therefore, most of their incomes are reduced. Regardless of offering virtual free and paid educational programming through Facebook, Twitter, and other media platform, the number of subscribers cannot generate the revenue they were getting.
Pain Points
The organization does not only have an occasional appointment, which should be reduced. Most of the employees spend in meeting affects the sales of their products and services. It also increases the workload to the remaining members of the teams (Hewer, 2020). Too many forced meetings frustrate the salesperson and may suffer from lackluster sales results. It also acts as a time waster to the salesperson, and it makes them feel they should be taking ownership of every issue their visitors face.
