Greatest philosophers such as Socrates have shared their personal beliefs about life after death and the idea of body and soul, where the discussion of abortion can be argued. Plato said that soul is immortal even after death, something connected to abortion. From a personal point of view, I disagree with what Socrates shared in the context of abortion because the same act (abortion) is equated to the killing of an innocent soul. Just like any other human being would reason, any practice associated with ending the lives of innocent people constitutes killing and considered immoral. The same concept holds the fact that abortion is an immoral act since several lives of fetuses are terminated. The essay broadly analyses Socrates' belief over the soul, where he believes that the soul is immortal even after death.
